Hail the D.O.G.S.!!!

So we came to our final round in this Eclectic Series at Klub Golf Bogor Raya. It's been a great 6 weeks with 297 rounds of golf including the 51 for our final round with 116 different players. You can see the note of appreciation and thanks from the management of the club above - we look forward to returning next year.
Good to see some old faces back including Colin Sifton and Nana, Shyam Datye and Shinta Sari. A big welcome to Rob Berling as visitor from overseas as well.
The weather looked ominous and it just started to rain as we got off on time again. However, it was not heavy and did clear up - so no delays and we all got back into the club house for the festivities in good time.
This week happened to coincide with Michael Mueller's 70th Birthday - he looked a bit rough when he arrived in the morning, something to do with the fact that he started the celebrations on the stroke of midnight only to stop for around 5 hours before coming to the course - quite something at his tender age!
So let's get to the play: Tribhuvan Singh and Cedric Lee showed us the accuracy of their tee shots winning the Nearest to the Pin prizes. Okkie and Steve Sutton got the drivers working well - or just lucky at hitting fairways - taking the Longest Drive honours and JP Seveke and Richard Mau hit the best approach shots taking the Drive & Pitch prizes.

Don Duttlinger missed a lot of greens so he was able to putt the least, becoming this week's Putting Champion whilst Siti Fatimah enjoyed the garden views - it is known as the Garden Course after all - taking both the Booby and Most Exercise trophies.
Richard Mau continued his low scoring taking the Lowest Gross prize. This saw Reysia Moore winning the Runner Up prize whilst Akhil Aggarwal had another consistent day winning the Little Dog and becoming the Weekly Champion for this week.

A big congratulations to all our winners this week.

So, this being the final week in the Eclectic Series the Big Dog was up for grabs. As always, you can never predict what's going to happen and this series was no exception.
Not only was Akhil's final round good enough to win him the Little Dog but it also won him the Big Dog and Blue Jacket with the lowest eclectic score we've had since 2018 on this course! - well done indeed Akhil. As usual we had the parade of all Blue Jacket winners of the past to help celebrate Akhil's victory.

Richard Mau took the Lowest Gross Average Trophy for this Series.
A big congratulations to all the winners in what has been a great series.
