Hail the D.O.G.S.!!!!!,
27 scorecards handed in for the 4th round at Matoa on what was a big weekend for both the golfers and the course. We all got a little nervous when we arrived at the course to see the Club Championship in full swing and the starter telling us that he couldn’t get us out until after 12:30. But even with what ended up being a 12:45 Shotgun, everyone was back in the clubhouse by 5:30pm. A lot of D.O.G.S. and Tee Setters were using the round for a practice for the Tee Set Championship on the same course the next day.
Chris Burley, who is heading back to Hong Kong managed to make the most of his last weekend on this stint in Jakarta by picking up both the Little Dog and the Lowest Putt prizes. Safe Travels Chris, make sure it's not too long until we see you next; hope that extra Little Dog doesn’t cause too much excess baggage. Welcome back to Kathy Scalabre who we haven’t seen for some time. Roger Finnie made the most of his Tee Set warm up with Lowest Gross and Tim Knight showing a broken ankle is just a flesh wound with both carding 79’s on the day.
Douglas McQuator and Chris Burley accepting their kudos for Deemples Lowest Net and Weekly Champion.
