Hail the D.O.G.S.!!!!!,
After 5 weeks back on the course the masks have become normal, the one caddy one cart thing has become normal, and becoming even more normal is a sub 80 round every week! Good to see that erstwhile committee members Craig Edwards and Kevin Dobson are counteracting these great scores and keeping up the D.O.G.S. standards with 100 plus rounds.
Two 77’s this week from Roger Finnie and Steven Xie with the former taking the Lowest Gross trophy on countback. Things are shaping up for a close run for the Best 4 Lowest Gross trophy to be awarded next Saturday. The race for the first new normal Big Dog will be hot with six players with 65 points or less.
Congratulations to the winner of the Riverside Penultimate Little Dog Malcolm Collis, we suspect the computer will be chasing that handicap hard! Skills prizes were shared all around in our second to last week assisted by the course who moved some of the pin positions mid-round! Best wishes to some of our D.O.G.S. stalwarts who are making the trip home to their families outside of Indonesia and braving the quarantines in their home countries.
Congratulations to all of our winners! Full results can be viewed on our Leaderboard.
Going into the final week Steven Xie is in front of the Eclectic pack by a mere 0.3 points and just behind Roger Finnie in Lowest Gross competition. Will it be smiles or tears for Steven next week? We know Roger won't be making it easy for him and there are plenty of people who can run him down in the Eclectic.
Make sure that you catch up this week for for final round at the Challenging Riverside Layout for our first Eclectic Champion of the Covid Era.

Each player is responsible for their own safety and is expected form their own judgement as to whether or not they are comfortable to join.
There is adequate information available publicly to inform players of the risks of playing and what steps can be taken to protect oneself and playing partners.
The course has asked that while players are waiting to tee off they maintain proper social distancing and not congregate in the starter area.
We are currently playing with 1 player per cart and 14 minutes between group tee off times.
When filling out scorecards players are asked to write down their actual score on the card and not their score in relation to par, or any other format. This makes it much easier for the committee.
