D.O.G.S. Third Round at Riverside Golf Club

Hail the D.O.G.S.!!!!!,

Rey Moore caught sneaking a beer from David's cooler.

A rare Sunday afternoon game was well attended with 38 players coming out. Once again the course was organized and had us teeing off 30 minutes earlier than scheduled. A semi-shotgun off the back nine got the D.O.G.S. underway and, while pace was methodical, we were able to finish before dark in spite of the rains that kept showing up and wouldn't go away.

Welcome to Mikko Heinonen who played his first round with us. We hope you enjoyed it and come back soon.

Fernando Gaggino was not able to make it to the course for our round but he did play the day before in the Tee Set Championship (along with many of us) and the D.O.G.S. ball he was using proved to be the right one as he scored an Eagle with it.

Gary Danskin was back with us this weekend and showed he hasn't lost a step, taking a Longest Drive, Nearest to Pin and Lowest Gross with a 73. His +1 kept him out of the stableford prizes though. The Noronha family played well with Willy winning Putting Champion and Meher taking Runner Up. New guy Mikko was a double winner, getting Most Exercise and Booby Prize. Keep swinging Mikko. Rey Moore got 42 points which were just enough to make her our Weekly Champion.

Congratulations to all of this week's winners!

Full eclectic results can be found on our Leaderboard.

We have reached the halfway point of our tournament and, as always, the 4th week will bring the serious faces with players marking up their scorecards to let them know where the much needed improvements are in their quest for the Big Dog. Grab a friend and sign up to play.
