D.O.G.S. Third Round at Sedayu Indo Golf

Hail the D.O.G.S.!!!

So we come to the halfway stage in this Eclectic Series as we enter the 3rd round. A great turnout with 53 players enjoyed another beautiful day with the wind not a strong as last week - thank goodness. The usual shotgun got us all off on time and finished in good time as well. Another wedding on the terrace meant we had to gather in the ballroom again for the Apres Golf - fingers crossed we can get on that terrace next week!

Several newcomers this week: Alessandro Perciante, Anirudh Katre, Arnold Castillon, Kairi Masdulhak, Sunit Dhoka, Jay Punongbayan and Syed Bilal Mahmood, and some faces we haven't seen for a while: Sam Westen, Hanny Nakai and Diana Budiarti. We should also mention Amaey Rajesh Nair who came out to enjoy his first ever round of golf outside India, and he's only 14 years old and shot an 82 off the stick - I think he has a great golfing future!

Great photos this week - thanks everyone - including this panoramic video.

So now to the play: A couple of multiple winners this week with Juju Juhaeriah taking both Longest Drive prizes and Eric Mary taking one of the Nearest to the Pin and Drive & Pitch prizes. Okkie and Sam Westen took the other ones respectively. Rod had his putter working taking this week's Putting Champion honour. Christian Berkenhoff took home another Booby Prize this week with Siti Fatimah improving on last week's score but unfortunately still took the Most Exercise - you're getting there Siti!

Newcomer Anirudh Katre celebrated his DOGS debut with a great round taking this week's Lowest Gross trophy. Count backs were the order of the day with Rod having to settle for Runner Up as Laurent Bessieres took the Weekly Champion honour and the Little Dog.

Thank you to Racquet Padel Club for the vouchers. Check our our Upcoming Events Page for more information on Jakarta's latest sport.

Congrats to all our winners!

Oh, and just in case you're wondering what Christian is doing with his Booby Prize paddle - I'll leave it up you you!!!! - no comment!

So, with 3 weeks gone we're at the halfway stage and Sarah's lead has been significantly cut in the Eclectic race - look out Sarah - the pack is catching up!!

Most of us know that while rangefinders are allowed during play, the slope function must be turned off. Here are some other rules players need to be aware of.
