Greetings Asian Tigers Family and Friends,
Please mark your calendars for the 6th Annual 45 Hole Challenge! Yes, it's that time of year again and we have been working hard to ensure we can run our annual event safely and compliantly in “the new normal” world we find ourselves in. After all, it is the only golf tournament of its kind and the endangered Sumatran Tigers need our support, so please come out and safely support ASTI while challenging the mighty Jagorawi layout in its entirety.
As we have done for the past 5 years, this charity tournament supports the Animal Sanctuary Trust Indonesia, https://www.simplygiving.com/NonProfit/animalsanctuarytrustindonesia & https://kitabisa.com/campaign/astiselamatkansatwa ASTI's mission, in part, is to care for and rehabilitate the endangered Sumatran Tiger. By participating you are doing your part to help this very worthy cause!
The tournament will be held on Friday, August 28th, 2020 at Jagorawi Golf and Country Club. Arrival from 5:00am with a 6:00am shotgun start to once again conquer all 45 Holes at Jag on foot before the sun sets! To register please email to firstname.lastname@example.org
Due to many requests over the last few years, we are also adding an 18 Hole tournament to the day for those that are only able to find a half a day’s time. This also promises to be an awesome event and an alternative for many to still come and support the cause. This tournament will offer a light lunch before a shot-gun start at 12:30pm, providing carts, beverages, snacks and then completing your round, along with the 45 Hole participants, in time for dinner, drinks and awards presentation. Again, this all happens with the “new norm” in mind of social distance seating and safety first. The opportunity to win any (or all) of the 4 novelty holes will be shared amongst both tournament participants and the 18 Hole participants will be given the, “normally Jagorawi members only”, opportunity to play The Old Course. Best net and gross trophies, along with bragging rights, will be awarded separately to winners of the 18 Hole Competition and 45 Hole Challenge.
If you or your company would like to support this unique double tournament golf charity, sponsorship opportunities are offered and welcome! Please review the attached sponsorship proposal form, which outlines the sponsorship levels in support of ASTI.
In order to help organize and manage the challenge this year, Asian Tigers Indonesia has once again partnered with Golf and Special Events (GSE). Please feel free to contact 08119555806 with any questions, ideas and/or suggestions regarding the tournament.
We look forward to seeing you on the day!!!
