Hail the DOGS and Bitches!!
Thanks to Kevin Glenton for preparing the results so quickly again.
Not so many players this week considering no rain last week and the course being in excellent condition, only 27 score sheets handed in.
Rain stopped play for about 20 mins and for those who showed up early enough to tee off at 11am they were able to sit back in the club house, sink a few happy juices and enjoy the entertainment of the highly skilled players trying to get out of the bunker on hole 8 par 3. Nothing like a good P**s take to help you while you are struggling to get the ball out of the sand... Markus Lorenzini had 6 quality swings for the DOGS in the club house to cheer at. Well done for persevering through the noise, unlike Paulo Conceicao whom was finally reduced to his knees and 'threw' the ball out in the end lol!!
Markus was so distraught with his experience in the sand, he claims this was the reason he got disorientated and followed the caddies into their changing room... thanks to the marshals his fun was short lived.
Obviously the scenery from this top course was too much of a distraction as the highest 'Lowest Gross' to date of 90 took the prize.
Congratulations to Douglas Mcquater for that win and also for taking the Weekly Champion with 38 points.
Only 4 more rounds left for the DOGS this year!!
The course is in great shape and the rain if any has very little affect to the greens, so get yourselves to the course for next weeks round, especially while we have an excellent rate for play and hopefully an early tee off again.
