Hail the D.O.G.S. !!!!!
Another excellent afternoon at Rainbow Hills saw the D.O.G.S. enjoy an on-time start, ideal golfing weather and another impressive pace of play. The field made its way around the course comfortably, with everyone back in the clubhouse in good time after another enjoyable Saturday.
A warm D.O.G.S. welcome goes to Arum Lester, Florian Zeuner and Sid Masilamani. We hope you all enjoyed your first round with us and look forward to seeing you back again soon.
The firm fairways continued to reward well-struck tee shots with plenty of extra run, something clearly demonstrated by this week's Longest Drive winners. Whether it was the dry conditions or simply a little extra effort, Matt Timbrell and Aknes certainly weren't lacking for distance.
Speaking of Matt, his choice of attire certainly didn't go unnoticed. With his wife away and apparently unable to provide any wardrobe guidance, "The Leopard" decided subtlety wasn't on the dress code! His outfit attracted almost as much attention as his golf, and after claiming Nearest to the Pin, Longest Drive and Lowest Gross, he proved the look wasn't just for show.
Elsewhere, Roger Finnie rolled his way to the Putting Champion title with just 26 putts, while Michael Adick collected the Booby Prize. Michael Benner enjoyed one of his trademark energetic afternoons, taking both a Nearest to the Pin and Most Exercise after requiring 122 strokes to complete the course. Sid Masilamani made an impressive D.O.G.S. debut by finishing Runner-Up with 41 Stableford points, but it was Aprilianty N who stole the show, producing an outstanding 42 Stableford points to become Weekly Champion.

With just one round remaining, both competitions are set for an exciting finish. In the Eclectic, Richard Mau has built a handy lead, but with only one bogey left on his card to improve, his opportunities are becoming limited. Most of the leading contenders find themselves in a similar position, while Aprilianty, currently sitting in 10th place, still has significant room for improvement. Could a spectacular final round see her charge through the field and claim the Big Dog?
The battle for Lowest Gross is equally intriguing. Tim Knight currently leads the standings after another consistently impressive series, but Matt "The Leopard" Timbrell has 3 sub 80 rounds and needs just one more qualifying round to meet the four-round minimum. If he can produce another performance like this week's, he could yet make a dramatic late run at the title.

Next Saturday brings the final round of this eclectic series. The Blue Jacket, the Big Dog and the Lowest Gross title are all still to be decided. It should be a fitting conclusion to another outstanding six-week tournament. Sign up now to secure your spot.

Standing Behind a Player
Since 2019, your caddie must not deliberately stand directly behind you once you begin taking your stance for the stroke.
This rule does not apply to fellow competitors or playing partners. Your mates can stand wherever they like—although they may not want to if they know where your tee shots usually end up!
