Final Round at Imperial Klub Golf

Hail the D.O.G.S. !!!!!

The D.O.G.S. were filing in early eager to hit the course and chase the elusive improvements. Once again the course did a great job ushering us out to the 1st and 10th tees right on time. Just like that play was underway.

As usual, we navigated the course smoothly with minimal delays. A brief rainstorm paused play, just long enough for stiffness to set in, adding an extra challenge to the next hole.

Upon completion players found cool beverages San Miguel awaiting them in the clubhouse.

Welcome back to Matt Timbrell and Rika Maulida, returning from Australia, and a warm welcome to Albert Davidson, David Yong, and Mirko for joining us for their first rounds. We're glad you all could be here.

Chris Barnett and Isara Pootrakul confidently claimed the Nearest to Pin flags. The Alexander brothers, Ezra and Jude, dominated the Longest Drives. Richard Mau and Don Duttlinger secured the Drive & Pitch awards. As expected, Richard once again took home his usual Putting Champion prize. Albert enjoyed a comprehensive tour of the course, winning Most Exercise for his debut D.O.G.S. round, while Chris Barnett proudly received the Booby Prize, now owning a fine cricket bat for his office.

Richard Mau shot a 74 to take Lowest Gross and gathered enough points to claim Runner Up position. After coming up short in the countback last week and witnessing someone else take the Little Dog, Jude Alexander made a strong comeback and emerged as this week's Champion.

Congratulations to all of this week's winners.

After learning about our significant loss last year, the Club generously offered to host The Imperial Klub Golf – Rod Williams Memorial Challenge. The winner would be the player with the highest stableford points throughout the tournament. Our winner came out strong the first week and never looked back. Congratulations to Don Duttlinger on his well earned win.

After six weeks of competition, it was time to calculate the scores and determine the leader. Richard Mau consistently maintained a top position throughout the tournament, ultimately securing the titles of Runner Up and Lowest Gross Champion.

This player experienced both triumphs and setbacks during the Eclectic, claiming the title of Weekly Champion one week and the Booby Prize the next. However, his determination was rewarded with his first Big Dog victory. Congratulations to our Imperial Klub Golf Eclectic Champion, Ezra Alexander!

Check out the full results for the Challenge and Eclectic on the leaderboard.

We are very pleased to announce that collections in the Charity Barrel reached 6,010,000 IDR for this tournament. Yayasan YPAI – Indriya will be the benificiary or your generous donations.

Thank you to everyone who participated in our survey on tee boxes. We received some intriguing responses. There is a clear preference for transitioning to the proposed system where players with a Course Handicap of 15 and above play from the White Tees. The group did not reach a consensus on whether the tees played affect the pace of play. Based on these results, we will conduct a trial run of the new system for our next Eclectic.

Men

CH 0–14 → Blue

CH 15 and above → White

Age 65+ → White (option to play Blue remains)
