Great turn out of 54 players and many thanks again to Kevin Dobson & Jeurgen Degert for preparing and taking in the score cards and fines.
This week's DOGS n HOGS round meant we all kindly donated Rp 5.150.000 to the Gentur Cleft Foundation https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tgoysXYjREM, the cost for an operation on these young children has gone up this year, so let's hope our donations each tournament will help push the Yayasan HOGS closer to making over 99 operations for 2014. Fantastic effort!!!
Some good scores and many handicaps took a hammering this round!!
Especially Winny for winning the Weekly Champion with 45 pts, no more Bobby Prize or Most exercise for Winny, Congratulations!!! Harry Hill missed runner up on count back to Peter Thorley, both had 42pts so finally Peter has had his handicap slashed nearer to him not being called a "sandbagger" every week (it's only jealousy mate!). Charles Lim another new comer to DOGS took the Bobby prize with 15pts Welcome to the DOGS.
Paul Willis smashed an 83 off the stick to take best gross for the second time in as many rounds, hopefully we'll be seeing more of Paul and his wife Penny to keep the scoring up for Best gross and Best Legs!!
Max Massimiliano Belli although improving 4 shots was not enough to hold onto Top Dog this week as Peter Thorley improved 9 shots to take the Top Dog slot, giving him a chance at his 3rd Big Dog!
Jose Durban had the lowest putts with 26 and has jumped up to 2nd position for Top Dog, could this be a 2nd Big Dog for Jose? (maybe a consolation prize for Spain not making the final of the Soccer World Cup!!
Village idiot of the round goes to myself.... When dunking your caddy's head in the pond to cool her down in the hot weather..... make sure she has put your clubs down first!!! This will save you having to pay a local pond ball retriever to strip off and fish your pitching wedge out of the pond!!! Luckly no photos taken!
