Hail the DOGS HOGS n Bitches!!
Firstly a big thank you to Roderick Williams for staying behind to collect the score cards and fines. The last two weeks I obviously spoke too soon about the course and staff taking good care of the DOGS..... It took Over 3 hours for 8 holes!!! Then rain set in too, which sent many of the players home early or to the massage room!? 32 cards handed in and luckily the HOGS were out in force to make up our numbers for the DOGS n HOGS round. It's a good job a little rain didn't stop their spirit to carry on the round, otherwise there would have been only a couple of people left to give prizes out to. Only Frank Musgrove from the HOGS group couldn't stick it out, with his confusion and disappointment over this putting ability....! Look at the bright side Frank, it can only get better for the last round!!
A Big Thank you to all for supporting the DOGS n HOGS round, your contributions mean another couple of children will benefit form surgery that they desperately need. The Welsh being used to playing in the rain meant I'm now Top Dog even on the lowest gross, so this course must be really affecting the DOGS' swing as my scores have certainly been gross!! It could also be that there were so many DNF's this week. Martin Steinhauser took both Most exercise and Bobby prize with 15 pts and 139 off the stick and the Welsh won the day with 37 pts and 85 off the stick. Apologies to Greg Fields who thought he'd taken all with 88 on his last round of DOGS before leaving Jakarta. Good luck for your new post in Australia.
All to play for still as there are very few points separating the top 10 players and I'm sure there will be many improvements on the last round of the year!!! Our next round is the FINAL round of 2014!!! SUNDAY 7th December Tee off 12.00 Fee 650.000 nett. If you intend to join us kindly let me know BEFORE 12.00 midday Friday the 5th December.
