D.O.G.S. Penultimate Round at Rainbow Hills

Hail the D.O.G.S.!

36 cards were submitted for our fourth round at Rainbow Hills.  A very good showing considering everything else going on Saturday.

The big news of the day was, for the first time ever, there were 2 holes in one!  Well done to Tim Knight and Mike Stewart.  Cheers for the beer at the end.

The ladies did a good job showing up the men; Rosie scored a massive 46 points edging out Yuli Pellow, who had 44, for the days honors.  Enjoy your new handicaps ladies.

Tim Knight did salvage a bit of dignity for the men by taking the Lowest Gross with 81 off the stick.

The competition for the Big Dog is starting to heat up with 3 players below 70.  Franz Kleindl maintained his hold on to the top spot.  Sean Pellow, trying to prove there is another golfer in the family, has shot up into second place and Kevin Dobson, in a very unfamiliar position, is in 3rd.  There are only 5 points separating 1st and 10th with 2 rounds to go; there is plenty of golf left to catch these guys.

Thank you to everyone who turns in their cards before going to the shower to help speed up the scoring.

Please join us for our next round at Rainbow hills.
