Hail the D.O.G.S.!!!!!,
Great turnout this week with 29 players turning in cards. Once again the course allowed us to begin teeing off well in advance of our tee time.
Welcome back to Thompson Situmorang and Mick Dodsworth who joined us for their first D.O.G.S round of the year.
Mick Dodsworth made a successful return to the D.O.G.S. taking the Weekly Champion Little Dog with an impressive 43 points. Won't be so easy next time with his new handicap. Sarah Brown showed up the men by taking one of the Longest Drive prizes with James Ross saving some face by taking the other.
With 4 weeks play completed we find once again Mark "Dirty" Johnson in the lead for the Lowest Gross prize but Tim Knight has come to play and is threatening to turn up for 2 more rounds to make sure Dirty doesn't automatically take home the trophy. Over in the Eclectic JB snuck past Dirty into the lead and will try to hold off the rest of the pack over the next 2 weeks.

POCKSIA Barbecue
Next Saturday our POCKSIA friends are playing their monthly round at Gunung Geulis. Following their round they will be having a barbecue up there and many of them will be spending the night. They would like any D.O.G.S. who are interested in joining the after golf festivities to join them. Please contact Brett Shields at bshields@sig-gis.com if you would like to join in the fun.

October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month and the British Women’s Association is inviting you to “Join the Pink League” at our 2017 Annual Charity Pink Golf Day on Wednesday 25th October.
Our event at Matoa Nasional Golf Course is open to Ladies and Men and all skill levels are very welcome to take part. Sign up in teams of 4 players or if you do not have a full team we can pair you up (format is a fun Texas Scramble).
Registration Fee:
BWA & Matoa Nasional members 800,000 Rupiah
Non Members 900,000 Rupiah
Included in the registration fee is the green fee, caddy fee, cart, lunch and free flow margaritas.
Arrive from 6:30am, registration from 7am, captains’ meeting at 7:50am, Tee off8am. Lunch will be provided from 1pm followed by prizes (including best dressed team!) and raffle draw.
Register yourself or your team by contacting golf@bwajakarta.org and send a copy of your completed registration form (payment options available). Please note that your place is confirmed on receipt of payment which is required in full by no later than 1 week from registration date.
