Penultimate Round at Imperial

Hail the D.O.G.S.!

The numbers show the D.O.G.S. like this course; 53 players showed up for our fourth round at Imperial. An early start made everyone happy and allowed for finishing long before dark. David Carpenter made it for a 3rd week and subjected all to his unique brand of humor during the prize giving. I’m sure he’ll be missed as he’s off to the bush again.

Jeff Colbert remains in the lead but Greg Fields refuses to let him pull away. Everyone else is starting to slip back but many in the top 10 still have pars to get. How many birdies can Jeff get anyway? He’s likely to slow down.

This week we also get a look at how the Lowest Gross is shaping up. I’m afraid it doesn’t look good for most of us but you never know what is going to happen.
