Hail the D.O.G.S.!
Our penultimate round saw 22 golfers turning cards in. Traffic was once again a problem with many players arriving late. It was a rain free round but at some point in the 34 °C heat many dogs were wishing for some cloud cover.
It is getting tight at the top of the leaderboard with Douglas McQuater managing to hold onto his slim lead. There are many players in the top 10 with a lot of white on their scorecard. A good round in the final could be rewarded with a big dog.
Ian Smith is atop the leaderboard in the Lowest Gross competition but this one is also wide open with a good portion of players who are eligible having a chance to take the trophy.
