Hail the D.O.G.S.!!!!!,
34 players turned out for our final round at Permata Sentul; many with expectations of taking home the Big Dog. The starter did a great job of getting the eager D.O.G.S. off to an early start. The course itself was in very good shape with the greens rolling fast and true.
Some new faces came out to join us; welcome to Petri Lähdekorpi, Ioann Fainsilber and Will Adrian. We are looking forward to seeing you again soon.
We had 3 double winners in the daily prizes with Brendon Skinner taking both Longest Drives and Kathy Scalabre getting the much coveted Booby Prize and Most Exercise awards. The big winner was Keith Gorman who was our Putting Champion with 27 and Weekly Champion grabbing the Little Dog with 40 points.
James Bristow took the Deemples Handicap Lowest Net for the second week in a row with a 68 net.

After six weeks of battling back and forth it was time to see who came out on top. Helped by his final round 85 Simon Oxley is our Lowest Gross Champion.
The top 4 players after 5 rounds all went out in the first group to fight for the Big Dog. When the last putt dropped Douglas McQuater found himself our 3rd place finisher, Laurie O'Connor, who made an early run on the front nine, had to settle for Runner Up and Amol Singhal was our proud Eclectic Champion by half of a point.

Thanks to everyone who joined us during our tournament at Permata Sentul. Special thank you to Sarah Brown for arranging the course, Kevin Dobson for his usual MC duties and Craig Edwards for making sure each play day went off well and to all the Dogs who pitch in collecting scorecards and game fees.
We will be on hiatus next weekend but back and ready to play the following weekend.
