Hail the D.O.G.S.!
Another hot day greeted the 20 D.O.G.S. who turned in cards for this weeks final round at Karawang. During play there was a lot of banter about who was making the most improvements but the overwhelming topic of conversation was the heat. Despite best efforts to stay hydrated during the round everyone was happy to get into the clubhouse and enjoy some (more) cold beverages.
Many D.O.G.S. started the round with a shot at taking the Big Dog or the Lowest Gross prizes. During the round close tabs were being kept on how everyone was progressing. Mark Howell managed to make up 4 shots and had already called home to have a space cleared on his shelf for the Big Dog, but once the dust settled the Howells family total of Big Dogs is still at 1 (which was won by Mrs. Howells). Douggie McQuater managed to hold off the pack and take home the Eclectic trophy by a very slim margin. The Lowest Gross was another hotly contested competition with the winner also taking the trophy by a very slim margin. Congratulations to the top 10 finishers and this week’s winners.
