Hail the D.O.G.S. !!!!!

The final round of the tournament rolled out the red carpet. The start was punctual, and the pace of play was the fastest we've experienced at any course in a long time, with open fairways welcoming the D.O.G.S. Best of all, it was another beautiful day for golfing. This perfect setting allowed everyone to relax and concentrate on the task at hand: making improvements.
Welcome to Paul "Pablo" Carrasco, Michael Tweedie, and Sean Linkletter. Thank you for joining us, and we look forward to seeing more of you in the future.
Andrew Goode and Shinta Sari brought out the lumber at the course taking the Longest Drives. Shinta also added a Drive & Pitch. As usual the greens were diabolical but Ash Hewitt managed to handle them better than the rest to take Putting Champion. Viora took home the prize for lowest Stableford score and the usually solid Jacob Smith struggled around the course to come in as the Most Exercise winner. Poor Kevin Dobson had to award the Little Dog to a guy who beat him on the count back and settle for the Runner Up.
Some of the prizes are unaccounted for, and here's why: Alberto Gonzalez arrived at the course with a clear mission to hit bombs and achieve score improvements. He accomplished exactly that, claiming both Nearest to Pin prizes, a Drive & Pitch, and the Lowest Gross with an impressive 87. Well done!
Finally, let's celebrate our Weekly Champion, newcomer Michael Tweedie, who took home a Little Dog in his first game. Congratulations!
Congratulations to all the day's winners.
After six challenging weeks in this demanding course that kept everyone alert, everything was at stake for round 6. The players rose to the occasion, delivering outstanding performances in their quest to climb to the top of the Leaderboard and claim the Big Dog. The previously mentioned Alberto made an impressive 12 improvements to secure 5th place. Jens Roestel advanced by 3 to take 3rd, while Ash "Always the Bridesmaid" Hewitt improved by 2 to earn the Runner Up position. The leader entering the round was determined not to miss his chance for glory, achieving three improvements himself. His efforts were rewarded as he became a double winner: the Lowest Gross Champion and the 2025 Gunung Geulis Champion, Sepand Zarrabi.
Excellent work, Sepand!
The full results are available on the leaderboard.
