What a fantastic turnout for our third round - 68 players - that's the highest this year!. Lots of guests who had joined Asian Tigers Annual 45 Hole Challenge and 18-Hole Competition, hosted by Bill Lloyd, the day before - some looking decidedly the worse for wear but still managed a full round under just about perfect conditions again. Some new faces as well: welcome to Harry Kwak, Shogo, Michael Benner, and some faces we haven't seen for a while: Terry Tyler, Rachel Watt, Nic Verdenal, Gaurav Shirke, Robert Bellavance, Mike Garwood and Jeremy Halma. A good representation from our friends from San Miguel also joined us today. Sorry if I've missed anyone out but there were a lot of faces and things were pretty busy before we started to get out shot gun underway as much on time as possible.

As usual Pak Esmit, the head starter, did us proud and we managed to get all our 17 flights off on time on the front nine, and that after the course was full in the morning!

With just about perfect conditions, fast greens with one or two difficult pin positions, pace of play was steady and we all finished pretty much at the same time well in time to enjoy the usual festivities in the Tondano Restaurant.

We mentioned the Asian Tigers Tournaments from the day before - an event always supported by the D.O.G.S. This year we donated 7,565,000 IDR collected during our Racamaya tournament. These will go to Sanctuary of Sumatran Tigers Barumun (TSB) an organization dedicated to the rescue, rehabilitation, and conservation of Sumatran tigers.

So, to the play: A good mixture of winners this week - the skills prizes went to some old and new faces with Carter deciding to let someone else hit the longest drives this week by taking one of the Nearest to the Pin prizes instead - the other going to Daniel GDP who also took one of the Longest Drive prizes. The other Longest Drive prize went to Paul Lebadine who had obviously well recovered from the previous day! The Drive & Pitch honours went to Terence Martin and another survivor from the day before, Chuan Campbell.

Ash had his flat stick working well to take this week's Putting Champion prize. Some of us enjoy the walk around the course rather more than the rest of us with Sai Ganesh and first timer Michael Benner taking the Booby and Most Exercise trophies home this week.

One of our guest Firoz Khan had the best round of the day, off the stick that is, taking the Low Gross prize. It took a count back to separate the two with Zacky Mohammad having to settle for the Runner Up slot leaving Ash Hewitt clear to take the Little Dog home as our Champion this week.

Congratulations to all of this week's winners.

Som we now at the half way stage in this Eclectic Series with Anirudh leading at the moment, but closely chased by Jaakko, Ash and Axel, but there's still 54 holes to go!

You can check out the full results on the leaderboard.
