Hail the D.O.G.S.!!!!!,
34 players showed up to begin the battle for the Big Dog in our final tournament of 2019. The course was ready and the D.O.G.S. were able to begin teeing off ahead of schedule. This allowed for a smooth flow and a quick pace which put everyone into the clubhouse ahead of the 16:00 start of the Rugby World Cup Final. After solving some IT issues Kevin Dobson was able to stream the match on his laptop for everyone to watch following the prize awards.
Welcome to Weera Limjirakajorn and Grant Gardener and welcome back to Mike Taylor. Thanks for coming out gents!
Doug McQuater was well prepared for the course taking home 3 prizes; Nearest to the Pin, Drive & Pitch and Deemples Lowest Net with a 72. Stuart Wigley continued his hot play winning Lowest Gross with an 81.
For the first time ever we had someone take home 2 Little Dogs on the same day; Matthias Coessens collected his Little Dog from Bogor Raya and then returned to the podium for the Matoa Weekly Champion prize. Poor Kamel Lakhdari whose missed birdie putt on his final hole left him 1 stroke back of Matthias, could only watch while wondering what might have been.
