D.O.G.S. Second Round at Permata Sentul Golf Club

Hail the D.O.G.S.!!!!!,

After a 1 week break the D.O.G.S. were keen to get back on the course with 37 players turning up. Once again the course was able to get us off to an early start with many heading out to the tee boxes by 11:00. The early start allowed everyone to get around the course quickly and into the club house to enjoy refreshing beverages while waiting for those of us who delayed starting until everyone had shown up, to finish.

Welcome to Wener Leton, Darles Fields, Aaron Gilchrist, Rick Zanker and Tribhuvan Singh. We hope you enjoyed the day and will be back again soon.

Former Champion Greg Fields paid us a visit from Abu Dhabi. Thanks for dropping by! Greg also won the Booby Prize leaving many asking if it was true that he had actually won a Big Dog before.

After some shady calculating by Craig Edwards, Roger Finnie was awarded Putting Champion beating out yours truly on count back. Roger also took a Drive & Pitch prize for his efforts on the day.

Tim Knight was the Lowest Gross winner with a smooth 77.

A new award added this week is the Lowest Net off of their Deemples handicap. Congratulations to James Taylor with a net 63.

This week's Champion was Juha Christensen with a 43. That makes 2 in a row for the Fins. After the ceremonies Juha celebrated in Finnish style with the Little Dog.

The race for the Big Dog is tight but 4 rounds remain giving ample opportunity for someone to separate themselves from the pack. Get up off the couch, grab a friend and come join our next game.

Golfers are requested to be at the course one hour early to allow for arranging of groups and to take advantage of an early start should the course allow.
