Hail the D.O.G.S.!!!!!,
Our first round at the ever popular Permata Sentul was attended by 40 eager golfers. We were pleasantly surprised with an early start. Once on the course the D.O.G.S. were blessed with great golfing weather as clear skies were the order of the day. The course management did a great job of keeping groups from getting in the middle of us; one 2 ball tried to insert themselves between groups making the turn but after notifying the marshalls they were quickly ushered out of the way. Players are reminded to please let us know via WhatsApp should this happen to your group and we will alert course management. No need to get into an altercation on the course or let it spoil your round.
There was a bit of confusion with the Stableford scoring as "somebody" messed up the hole handicaps on our scorecards. Apologies for this; everything is corrected and ready for Round 2. Thanks for everyone's patience on this.
Welcome to first timers Sebastian Braun, Nitin Arora, Bambang Widi and Badrol Hisham Jeran; thank you for coming out, we hope you enjoyed the day and will be back soon.
Following the wrong HI's there was more confusion at the prize giving; despite putting together the results Kevin Dobson got mixed up on which Dave he was awarding prizes to; after calling Dave Prosser up and then asking him to sit down a few times he finally was able to sort out Dave Prosser was the winner of a Nearest to the Pin and Longest Drive and Dave Keddington a Drive & Pitch. The other Longest Drive was a huge smash by Umi who one could be forgiven for not seeing as a big hitter. Risa Tirtayasa liked the course so much she decided to inspect as much of it as possible over 134 shots to win Most Exercise and gather just enough points for the Booby Prize. Kevin was able to get the right Dave on his 3rd try and award Dave Keddington the Little Dog as our Weekly Champion.

The course is in great shape and the greens are rolling fast. Sign yourself up, or better yet, get a group together, for our next round.

Playing is the sole decision of each player. There is adequate information available publicly on Covid-19 to allow each person to form their own judgement on playing and what steps should be taken to protect oneself and playing partners.

We had a good response to our sign up request but still have a long way to go; if you haven't yet done so please sign up for mygolf2u. We need to get everyone registered so real time scoring can begin. The app can be downloaded from your app store or you can also set up an account on their website. Once you have set up an account please let us know via email and we'll get you registered with our Club.
