Hail the D.O.G.S.!!!!,
A relatively quiet and fast round at Rainbow Hills with 15 players posting scores. The starter got everyone away well before midday and all were showered and cooling down with refreshing beverages around 4pm. The course was in very good shape although the fairways are starting to brown off a little, some rain through the week should help.
Welcome to newcomer Dennis Prangel whom the caddies welcomed by shouts of handsome man as he passed the caddy station on the way to the first tee.
Dennis' golf scores show he must have been preoccupied by the attention as he was the double winner of Most Exercise with 124 off the stick and the Booby Prize with 20 points.
The Rainbow Hills greens bared their teeth this round making for tough putting; Mark Johnson's 32 putts took the Putting Champion honours.
Mark didn’t stop with the putting; also collecting Lowest Gross (82), Nearest to Pin and Runner Up on count back with 36 points, sorry Rosie Tjaden and Bernard Stuckart.
Not to be outdone, Juju Juhaeriah won the Little Dog with 37 points.
A big thank you to Mick Dodsworth for donating a box of balls on behalf of Schenck Process; which incidentally were all won by Mark and Juju.
Thanks also to Craig Edwards for running the show in Kevin's absence.
