Hail the D.O.G.S.!!!!!,
35 players turned up for our third round at Pangkalan Jati. Not bad considering the Scots were battling the English over at Cengkareng in the Thompson Cup. The D.O.G.S. were well represented on both teams with the English managing to eke out a 5-4 victory. Meanwhile, play in our Eclectic continued and players took advantage of the playing conditions to improve their positions at the expense of those who weren't there. The weather was much more cooperative this week with sunny skies all day.
Hitoshi Maruyama had his power game and accuracy going as evidenced by him taking a Longest Drive and Nearest to Pin. The most excited winner we had was Rod Williams who was over the moon for winning Most Exercise with 122 off the stick. The round of the day went to Shashvat Pandey who carded his first sub-80 round with a 79. He also managed 42 Stableford points which were enough for a very proud father, Shivashish Pandey, to watch his son collect the Little Dog as our Weekly Champion.
Congratulations to all of our weekly winners!
Going into the second half of the tournament Tribhuvan (TPS) Singh is sitting at the top of the Leaderboard. Fernando Gaggino is close behind waiting for him to slip up. More importantly to Fernando, he is 5.9 points out in front of Gaurav Shirke in their high stakes head to head competition.
Full results and standings can be viewed on our Leaderboard page.
The D.O.G.S. Interleague Team was in action on Sunday.
They faced stiff competition but managed to get 5 points on the day. This Leaves the D.O.G.S. with 27 points and joint leaders with JAWS, but the D.O.G.S. have played 1 game less so are in strong position as a team with 3 rounds to go.

Find Out Which Club Other Player Used
A player looks into the bag of another player to find out which club was used for the last shot. Is that against the rules?
No. Any information, which can be obtained only by looking are not against any rules.
Two Players Using The Same Caddie
Is it against the rules for the caddie to tell the other player which club the first player used for the last shot?
No. The caddie is allowed to use all the knowledge he has at the moment a player asks him.
Asking For Information
A starting player asks a player who just finished his round for advice about clubs used on specific holes. Is this allowed?
Yes. The rules only apply to golfers which are playing a round, not afterwards.
Music on the course
Are players allowed to listen to music during a golf round?
Yes. It is allowed to use any music or other broadcast, which is not related to the actual golf round.
Not allowed: news about the other players in the tournament or music to time swing speed.
If you have any questions about rules please drop us a note to jakartadogs@gmail.com and our Rules Guy Jens Roestel will answer on our website.

Charity Donations
Our Padang Golf Pangkalan Jati tournament collections will be for the benefit of Yayasan HOG Indonesian Chapter (YHOG) commonly known as the HOGs, a group of expatriates living in Indonesia which raises money for children that cannot afford cleft palate surgeries.
The D.O.G.S. and YHOG have a long history together with many YHOG members also being D.O.G.S. regulars. The D.O.G.S. have been been proudly supporting YHOG since 2014 with regular donations.
