D.O.G.S. First Round at Permata Sentul Golf Club

Hail the D.O.G.S.!!!!!,

A great day to start our new tournament. The course was empty and we were able to start teeing off well ahead of our appointed tee time. The weather was also quite reasonable and the pace was rapid allowing for most of the 28 Dogs who showed up to coast around the course in at or near 4 hours.

Dougie McQuater was supposed to play with George Baptiste who was running behind schedule. After texting Doug that he had finally arrived but couldn't find the group they got on the phone with each other only to discover George was at Sentul Highlands! We hope you can find the course by the next round George. Let us know if you need a ride.

Welcome to Herdin Syafari, Jamin Philippe and Lucky Sondakh who all joined us for their first D.O.G.S. round. We hope to see you back very soon.

After several years without seeing him, the D.O.G.S. are very happy to welcome back former champion Bernhard Leode! Next time don't take so long between rounds.

Axel Hertzke must have had a big breakfast as his big hitting took both Longest Drives. New guy Herdin Syafari showed off his putting skills taking the Putting Champion prize with 26 on the very difficult greens to go along with Runner Up. Tim Knight shot an 80 to set the pace for the Lowest Gross competition. Our Weekly Champion, via count back, is Jari Rahtu with 39 Stableford points.

Due to tournaments scheduled at the course next weekend we will be taking a 1 week break between rounds. The D.O.G.S. will be back in play the weekend after next.

Golfers are requested to be at the course one hour early to allow for arranging of groups and to take advantage of an early start should the course allow.
