Hail the D.O.G.S.!!!!!
The first round of the year saw 20 Dogs turn up at Pondok Cabe to begin their quest for the Big Dog. Everyone was on time and ready to go, ahead of tee time as requested, only to see the rain begin to pour down. The talk turned to rain checks and what we would do with the afternoon but after about 30 minutes the rain quit and the starter ushered everyone to the tee boxes. There were a few morning groups who had to finish their rounds which slowed the pace but everyone was still able to finish their round near the 4 hour mark. More importantly there was no rain and the overcast skies kept the temperature down making for an enjoyable day on the course.

Axel Hertzke was clearly practicing over the break, snatching 4 skill prizes; 2 x Nearest to Pin, Longest Drive and a Drive & Pitch. Despite his great play he had to watch Michael Mueller hoist the Little Dog as Weekly Champion.
