Hail the D.O.G.S.!!!!!,
The D.O.G.S. were eager to play with almost all players at the course by 11:00 hoping for an early start. They were not disappointed; the 29 golfers who submitted scorecards were allowed to head out to the tee boxes early. As with previous weeks the pace of play was quick with everyone trying to get in ahead of the rains we have become accustomed to in the previous weeks. However no rain fell and the D.O.G.S. were all dry and in the clubhouse before 16:00.
Jari Antikainen is back to Jakarta after a stint in Surabaya and joined us for his first round in quite a long time; glad to have you back Jari!
For the days play double winners were Dave Prosser who took a Nearest to Pin and Longest Drive and Maurice Dres who snatched the Most Exercise and Booby Prizes. Tim Knight has been complaining about how badly he has been playing golf lately and had to settle for the day's Lowest Gross prize with a 78! Many of us would like to play golf this badly. Pieter Nielen-Groen was also a double winner with a Drive & Pitch prize to go along with his Weekly Champion trophy taking home the Little Dog with 39 points.

At the close of our 4th round the competition for the Big Dog is getting tight with Fernando Gaggino remaining at the top of the board with a slight lead over Roger Finnie. Jon Huston has moved up 3 spots to challenge and still has some white spaces to fill in. With only 5.5 points between 1st and 10th places this competition is a long way from over.
Roger Finnie is sitting nicely atop the Lowest Gross standings but will not be able to make the final 2 rounds. It will take an effort but this leaves an opportunity for someone to try and catch Roger. Can it be done?
Thank you to Tom Grace who remained in the clubhouse, while everyone else is was playing, helping late arrivals getting into groups and collecting fees, scoresheets and tallying the results at the end. Much appreciated Tom! We do hope your knee recovers from replacement surgery soon so that you can be back out on the course with us.

The new handicap system is in place and working well. To ensure we have the most accurate handicap for you please send us in your scorecards from rounds not played with D.O.G.S. (except Tee Set which are automatically entered) at Jakarta area courses. Make sure to sign the scorecard and mark tee boxes played before sending in to us.
