Hail The D.O.G.S.!!!!!,
Saturday saw 26 D.O.G.S getting away at the scheduled tee off time of 12:00 pm. Although rain threatened it did not eventuate so all were back into the clubhouse in reasonable time for a nice cooling shower and relaxing drinks.
Welcome back to Ken Runyon, Ezra Alexander and Adrian Scholten who all joined us after lengthy absences. Ken had a great day taking Lowest Gross with a nicely compiled 80 off the stick. We hope to see you again back soon.
Andrew Waite had a great day on the skills prizes taking two Longest Drives and a Nearest to the Pin. The other skills awards went to Mark Johnson, Amol Singhal and Pieter Nielen-Groen. Putting Champion was ever consistent Richard Mau with 26, well done Richard.
After a long layoff from the D.O.G.S. Ezra Alexander returned to claim the Bobby Prize with 21 points while most exercise went to Indar Dhaliwal, keep at it folks.
The ever improving Dirk Kruip was our Weekly Champion with a healthy 40 points, whilst runner up was Jari Rahtu with 38 points, well done Dirk and Jari.
Coming down to the last 2 weeks at Modern Dave Prosser (with his 2 eagles and 3 birdies) is still hanging onto his lead but his 1 stroke improvement was wiped out by the drop in handicap from Week 3 and the field is getting closer to him. There is still plenty of golf to be played before the eventual Champion will be revealed.

For the past winners who were not able to attend our End of Year Party last December, where Blue Jackets were handed out, please mark your calendars and plan on playing the final round of this tournament on February 9, 2019. Outstanding Blue Jackets will be awarded during awards ceremony.
