Hail the D.O.G.S.!!!!!
So we headed into our second round at Imperial Klub Golf hoping for a rain free day - and we got it with great weather all afternoon. Due to some other tournament going on - like the Thompson Cup - we were a bit down on numbers with 29 players enjoying a great afternoon's golf. The usual shotgun start got us all off very slightly early and everyone finished in very good time.
Some newcomers this week with Evi Susanti, Nathan Pugh and Ed Long joining us - welcome and as always we hope to see you many more times in the future.
So to the play: Nearest to the Pin prizes for Alberto Gonzales and Stephanie Rina, Longest Drive honours to Jude Alexander and James Nicholson and Drive & Pitch prizes to Terence Martin and Srinivas Murthy with David Moore being this week's Putting Champion saw the skill prizes nicely shared out with no multiple winners. Even at the other end of the spectrum the Booby prize and Most Exercise were split between George Baptiste and Evi Susanti.
Good to have the VP of TeeSet with us - come back soon George.
Richard Mau took the Lowest Gross prize as we handed him his trophy you winning the Lowest Gross Average from the Rainbow Hills Series.
Rod Williams had a good day being this week's Runner Up with Andrew Goode taking his first Little Dog home as this week's Champion.

With 2 rounds of the Eclectic Series now completed Gaurav Shirke continues to hold the lead - but as always there's a long way to go. The full standings can be seen through the links on our Leaderboard page or in the mygolf2u app as usual.
There was one matchplay in the President's Challenge with Hitoshi Maruyama defeating Holger Molendyk 2 UP - note that Hitoshi had an injured hand which only goes to prove the saying "Beware the Injured Golfer".

So, now we head into the third round at Imperial Klub Golf. Hopefully we will have a shotgun start again so it's important to arrive at the course in good time - thanks.
