Hail the D.O.G.S. !!!!!
A big group turned up for our second round ready to attack the course. Despite a very packed course the D.0.G.S. were ushered out to 1 and 10 right on time. A few quick practice swings and everyone was off.
Welcome to Andy Chang who participated in his first D.O.G.S. round. We're also happy to have John Gustke and Dewi Wardoyo back with us after their travels in the US.
As play commenced, players enjoyed open fairways and sunny skies. The pace was brisk, with everyone striving for improvements up to the midpoint of the round. Suddenly, thunder, lightning, and heavy rains moved in, driving groups to the nearest shelters. Those gathered at the starter shack watched the water rise, while others who couldn't reach the clubhouse did their best to stay dry. Half the group decided to call it a day, but the other determined golfers returned after the storm to complete their rounds. Nineteen succeeded, though darkness prevented the last group from finishing their final hole. Well done, everyone!
We extend our gratitude to the groups who picked up the flags. The Nearest to Pin prizes were claimed by Norman Defryzal and Hitoshi Maruyama. Sepand Zarrabi and John Gustke dominated with the Longest Drives. Harry Kwak and Mike Webb excelled in the Drive & Pitches category.
Sai Ganesh secured enough Stableford points to earn the Booby Prize, while Rancamaya Week 6 Champion Mark Warren took the Most Exercise award. Roger Finnie achieved the Runner Up position this week. Despite the rain, Axel Hertzke triumphed by winning three prizes: Putting Champion, Lowest Gross, and Weekly Champion.
Prize winners can collect their awards next week or the next time they play.

Congratulations to all of this week's winners!
After two rounds, Alberto Gonzalez and Roger Finnie are tied at the top. With less than 5 points separating the top 10, it's clear that significant improvements can still be made. It's definitely too early for anyone to start getting measured for their Blue Jacket.
Full results can be viewed on the leaderboard.
After this tournament, we will proceed to Cilegon for the D.O.G.S. and TeeSet Royale Krakatau Challenge. Full details are available on our dedicated page. We have successfully secured the course, restaurant, and hotel rooms. While prices are still under negotiation, we anticipate no significant increase from last year. Please continue to check the page for updates. It's important to gather participant numbers, so please register on myGolf2u or our website. As always, non-playing guests are welcome and encouraged to join us, but please inform us so we can make the necessary arrangements.
