D.O.G.S. Third Round at Imperial Klub Golf

Hail the D.O.G.S.!!!!!

Another beautiful day for golf so Fritz decided to have a look across the 18th Hole to welcome the 49 players who turned out for our third round at Imperial Klub Golf.

A few welcome guests this week and a few we haven't seen for a while including Aknes and Christian Berkenhoff, Michael Taylor, Arne and Rosie Tjaden. Richard Mau brought along his guests from Hawaii to make up a 5 ball group with Matt Chun, Ted Davenport, Tim Yucuis and Mike Kometani. Welcome all and we hope you enjoyed the great day! We had the usual shotgun start which got everyone off on time and finished in good time as well so we could all enjoy the relaxing atmosphere of the Sunset Bar for the usual après golf!

So to the play: No multiple winners this week which meant the prizes were spread out with Steve Sutton and Shawn Berg showing they can hit the greens taking the Nearest to the Pin prizes and Diarmuid Flanagan and David Moore also showing their ability to hit greens in regulation taking the Drive & Pitch honours. The big hitters this week were Viboon Seeshaan and Sarah Brown - Sarah had allowed JB to play with the boys this week which clearly shows how she can hit a long drive when not awestruck by hubby's golfing prowess - hence the Longest Drive prizes.

Terence Martin showed that once on the green it's easy to sink those putts as shown by him being this week's Putting Champion. Aknes and Christian Berkenhoff worked well together as a team taking the Booby Prize and Most Exercise honours this week - well done guys - it can only get better!!

Richard Mau was consistent with the same total off the stick as last week taking the Lowest Gross and Jude Alexander taking the Runner Up prize this week.

Holger Molendyk had unfortunately disappeared before the prize giving so his friends, who were most likely to annoy him, gathered to accept the Little Dog he had won on his behalf - well done Holger for being this week's Champion but whether you ever see your Little Dog is somewhat unknown!
