Hail the D.O.G.S.!!!!!,
As a result of last week's rains the course arranged a visit by their Pawang Hujan who not only successfully chased away the rain but brought the heat as well. Once again the D.O.G.S. were afforded an early start with groups teeing off at 11:30 in the scorching heat. The groups maintained tight proximity for the entire round with everyone reaching the 19th hole long before darkness.
Some of the Dogs were so excited about playing they forgot to bring their gear. Dave Prosser had to purchase a new pair of golf shoes at the pro shop; no discount given on the premium price. James Bristow turned up without a shirt or any other clothing. Lucky for him he was wearing a suitable pair of shorts and the new D.O.G.S. shirts arrived. Always double check your gear before speeding off to the course.
Welcome to Timo Landgren who was brought along by Täpio Jarvenpää. Thanks for joining us Timo, next time you are visiting from Spain join us again.
The prizes were shared around a bit more than usual this week with only 1 double winner; Sarah Brown showed up the boys with a dominating Long Drive and took the Runner Up prize with 37 points. Amol Singhal saw his name in an unusual (for him) place as the Booby Prize winner with a reasonable 24 points. The shame was too much for Amol so he snuck off before his name was called thinking that would keep people from finding out.
Once again James Bristow won the Deemples Handicap Low Net with a 71. Everyone in James' neighborhood must we wearing Deemples caps by now.

Weekly Champion and winner of the Little Dog was Steve Sutton who also managed to sneak off before the prize giving. We are keeping your Little Dog safe Steve.
