Hail the D.O.G.S. !!!!!
The D.O.G.S. arrived early at the course, determined to enhance their game and climb the standings. The course was bustling, prompting the starter to adjust the starting holes to ensure a timely start. Teeing off from holes 11, 12, 13, and 14, the group enjoyed clear fairways and maintained a brisk pace. Fortunately, the rain gods favored us this week, providing excellent golfing weather throughout the round.
A warm welcome Aryan Gambhir, Majid Khan, and Michael Dillon, who joined us for their first rounds. We were also thrilled to have Dewi Williams return to the course with us. We look forward to seeing all of you again soon.
The Notorious Golf Group once again excelled in the prizes, with Remon Moerman securing the Putting Champion title, Yuda Adita taking the Booby prize, and Tony Tulus winning both Nearest to Pin and Runner Up.
Alberto Gonzalez claimed the other Nearest to Pin, while Aryan Gahmbir and Jacob Smith shared the Longest Drives. Paul Barnett placed his approach shot just 30 cm from the pin to win Drive & Pitch on the 8th hole. He then made his birdie putt, which was crucial as he finished just 2 strokes ahead of wife Tikky, who received the Most Exercise award. Richard Mau's score of 80 secured the Lowest Gross. Harry Kwak quietly enjoyed a successful day on the course, winning the other Drive & Pitch and becoming our Weekly Champion.
We also managed to address some pending matters this week. Mark Warren received his Most Exercise award from Round 2 during the German Open Cup on Friday. The second person from Bill Lloyd's surfing golfers crew who went from first to last in consecutive D.O.G.S. rounds.
John Gustke and Norman Defryzal received their Longest Drive and Nearest to Pin awards.
Congratulations to all of this week's winners!
At the halfway point of the tournament Harry Kwak sits atop the leaderboard but the chasing pack has some tough competitors in it. He must continue improving to hold onto his lead until the end. With three rounds left, there's still a lot to play for, and the tournament is far from decided. There's always an unexpected contender who rises to challenge the leaders.
Full results can be viewed on the leaderboard.

On Sunday, the D.O.G.S. Inter-league team kicked off their 2026 season, debuting the new shirts sponsored by San Miguel Indonesia.
Competing against last year's runners-up, Cloggies, they secured victory winning 4 out of 5 matches. A brilliant beginning to the season.
After this tournament, we will proceed to Cilegon for the D.O.G.S. and TeeSet Royale Krakatau Challenge. Full details are available on our dedicated page. We have successfully secured the course, restaurant, and hotel rooms. While prices are still under negotiation, we anticipate no significant increase from last year. Please continue to check the page for updates. It's important to gather participant numbers, so please register on myGolf2u or our website. As always, non-playing guests are welcome and encouraged to join us, but please inform us so we can make the necessary arrangements.
