Hail D.O.G.S.
A quiet day for our last round at Rancamaya, with many DOGS on their way for the big break.
The key players were there to contest the Big Dog though and there was some great golf on the day. There were some big movements on the eclectic leaderboard on the final day and it was Rauf Chaudry who broke through the pack and picked up the Big Dog AND won the Little Dog on the way. 42 points winner on countback with a 40 and 38 in the pile as well mean that there will be some shiny new (smaller) handicaps going to Bogor Raya in two weeks time. Rob Nicholls showed the benefits of all those rounds with the Par 5ers to take the Runner Up prize on the Day - those 42 points will work wonders for your new HC! David Prosser took out lowest gross (78) and lowest putts (27) for the day, thanks to the positive encouragement of Axel - who cheered him on all the way.
I have to make a correction to the announcements made on the day - Lowest Gross over 3 rounds was won by Axel Hertzke - apologies fo the mis-sort on the day - Will Present the trophy to Axel when we see him next.
With many of you on the road there were a few top 10-ers who weren't there to pick up you box of balls - check out the list below and see who you are!!!! Well done Rauf - both DOGS on the same day is quite an achievement!
Next round for D.O.G.S. will be the first round of our 2018 eclectic at Bogor Raya, will circulate the details next Monday.
Thanks to MJ for helping out on the day - always appreciated.
Enjoy the break, stay safe and Selamat Idul Fitri.
KD - (for JB and sarah also)
