Fourth Round at Imperial Klub Golf

Hail the D.O.G.S. !!!!!

The heavy rains that fell on Jakarta all week leading up to our round were conspicuously absent on Saturday which led to a stunningly clear day on the course..

Play got underway right on time and the groups were able to move steadily around the course enjoying the sunshine.

Tasty beverages were awaiting the D.O.G.S. when they finished their rounds courtesy of our sponsor San Miguel.

With Kevin away Paul Barnett confidently took charge of awarding the prizes. The first two awards went to Ezra Alexander, who impressively won both Nearest to Pin awards. The Longest Drives were claimed by Alberto Gonzalez and Aknes. Despite the challenge, nobody managed to hit 17 in regulation, leaving Tony Woods as the sole Drive & Pitch winner for the day. Richard Mau proudly secured the Putting Champion and Lowest Gross prizes. Paul awarded himself the Most Exercise prize, while Tony earned a second prize, winning the Boody Prize. Max Sollfrank gathered 36 Stableford points, which were just enough for Runner Up, with the Weekly Champion title going to Ezra Alexander.

Going into our penultimate Richard has worked himself to the number 1 spot in the Eclectic with Ezra close behind. Don Duttlinger couldn't make any improvement and has slipped to 3rd but is still in the lead for "The Imperial Klub Golf – Rod Williams Memorial Challenge".

Manila Dogs 25th Anniversary

Our founder, Fritz Hainzl, was originally a member of the Manila Dogs. When he moved to Jakarta, he saw an opportunity and created a similar organization—what we now know as the Djakarta Old Golf Society or D.O.G.S.

On Sunday, March 14, 2026, the Manila Dogs will be celebrating their 25th Anniversary at Club Intramuros Golf Course in Manila.
