Hail the D.O.G.S.!!!!!
So we headed up the hill for our second week at Rainbow Hills under beautiful blue skies and despite the street party just before turning into the Rainbow estate holding up traffic for 10mins or so, we were greeted with great views down the ninth holes of the Forest and Mountain courses.
16 players made the journey and, due to the course being a little quieter this week we all tee'd off on time on both the Forest and Mountain courses. Pace of play was good and we were hopeful we could be blessed with a full 18 holes.
However, by the time we got to the third hole on the back nine the rains came with a vengeance. This stopped play long enough for most of us to call it a day - when is the dray season goiung to start, please. It did clear up but most had gone back down the hill although Andy and Carter Cross did venture out and managed to finish before it got too dark. The holes completed by everyone still count towards the eclectic so all was not lost.
Since we couldn't finish, no prizes were given out but we will hope and try again next week!!!
