Hail the D.O.G.S.!!!
So, after the one week break for Idul Fitri we gathered again for our fourth round at Rancamaya. With a few still away the numbers were a little down on previous weeks but 47 players enjoyed a good afternoon of golf.
The usual shotgun got us off on time and a good paced round saw everyone back in the club house in good time.
A couple of faces we haven't seen for a while - Angel Barcena and Bambang Widiyanto - good to see you back and please don't leave it so long next time!
So to the play: some new and old winners this week - always good to mix it up a bit - with Remon Moerman and Holger Molendyk showing their accuracy off the tee taking the Nearest to the Pin prizes. Robson Drumond and Willie Noronha also showed their accuracy with their approach shots taking the Drive & Pitch prizes. Anirudh Katre and Willie Noronha kept their drives in the fairways taking the Longest Drive prizes.
Richard Mau was back with his putter taking yet another Putting Champion prize whilst Claudio Ghelli rather uncharacteristically won this week's Booby Prize with a pretty respectable total. Colin Shanks enjoyed the pleasant afternoon taking this week's Most Exercise Trophy.
Anirudh Katre brought his A++ game out this week shooting a very impressive 2 Under Par 70 to take the Lowest Gross prize. Rod Williams had a good afternoon but had to settle for this week's Runner Up Prize leaving the way open for Anirudh Katre to take the Little Dog home becoming this week's Champion - much deserved after such a great round!
A big congratulations to all our winners this week!!
Anirudh driving the green - at least that's what Holger the commentator says!
So, with four rounds now complete we are still seeing changes at the top of the Eclectic Leaderboard. Anirudh's sub-par round has put him on top with a substantial lead - but there's still plenty of holes that need improving from the chasing pack - so plenty to play for! Please check out the full standings on our Leaderboard page or in the myGolf2u app.
As we head into the Penultimate round next week we move ever closer to the big weekend - so please don't forget to read the Special Announcement below and register for the scramble, BBQ and final round.
So, as we say, grab a friend and sign up for next week. Don't forget to let Rod know your preferred playing partners. Please also make sure you have confirmed that your preferred playing partners are their preferred paying partners! Please note that signing up early helps a lot in getting things ready with the club - thanks.

Sunday 14th May: This is the sixth and final round of the D.O.G.S. Eclectic competition so the Big Dog will come out to play - with his Blue Jacket.
