Hail the D.O.G.S.!!!
So we came to the third round in this Eclectic Series with another fantastic turnout of 70 players. The weather forecast was not promising but, as is ever the case, the golfing Pawang Hujan was kind and we enjoyed a beautiful afternoon with the usual shot gun start and everyone finishing in reasonable time.
A few new faces as usual so a big welcome to Adam Green, Bram Van Hoof, Jason Mundy, Karl Park, John Lumbaraja and Charlie Ryals - and a few faces we haven't seen for a while, Craig Stewart, Erwin Groeneweg, Ezra Alexander, Jesus Ortiz, Dave Keddington and Thjis Penning - good to see you back guys!
So, to the play: Nearest to the Pin honours went to Jens Roestel and Jim Korbilas, the Longest Drive prizes went to Anirudh Katre and Charlie Ryals. Accurate approach shots meant that Roger Finnie and Sami Kekonen went home with the Drive & Pitch prizes. Robson Drumond, with only 9 putts on the front nine and 13 on the back became this week's Putting Champion with one of the lowest totals we've had in a while - congrats for missing all the greens Robson!
Dave Keddington decided to rush off immediately after his round so he wouldn't have to collect the Booby Prize this week - must surely be his first! Sandra Novita enjoyed her afternoon walk taking this week's Most Exercise trophy home.
Anirudh Katre showed us how this course should be played winning the Lowest Gross - not for the first time! Count backs prevailed again with Dan Swinburne having to settle for the Runner Up prize despite 44 points - tough that one! - leaving the way for Siti Fatimah having a great round and becoming this week's Champion and taking the Little Dog home.
What a spectacular backdrop for the prize giving!
A big congratulations to all our winners this week!!

and David Moore...
So now we have reached the half-way stage in the race for the Big Dog and Blue jacket with only 2.9 points separating the top 5. Holger leads the way at the moment but the chasing pack of Manish, Anirudh, JB and David Moore are not that far behind. There's still 3 rounds to go so please check out the full standings on our Leaderboard page or in the myGolf2u app.
We have reached the halfway point of this tournament and will take a one week break for Idul Fitri. As it will be 2 weeks until our next round it's best to sign up now so you don't need to worry about getting to it. Don't forget to let Rod know your preferred playing partners.
