Hail the D.O.G.S. !!!!!
A large group of players gathered to enjoy this spectacular course and were rewarded with an early start.
Once underway the pace of play was impressively quick, with the lead-off group finishing in just 3 hours and 45 minutes. That's the kind of golf we love!
Following their round players relished tasty beverages provided by San Miguel Indonesia while the evening skies cleared up, offering the usual breathtaking view of Gunung Salak as nightfall approached.
We are happy to welcome back Abhijit Singh and Trent Prestegar. A very special welcome to Cucu Chandra as she returns for her first round after knee replacement surgery. It's fantastic to have you all back with us.
The Nearest to Pin prizes were confidently claimed by Sepand Zarrabi and Daniel Park. Jeff Colbert and Terrence Edwards flexed their muscles hitting bombs to take Longest Drive. Jeff also nabbed a Drive & Pitch along with Daniel.
The greens continued to challenge the D.O.G.S. this week, but Jude Alexander excelled, claiming the title of Putting Champion. Jeff led the pack, securing the Lowest Gross honors. On the opposite end, Abhijit Singh earned the Most Exercise award, while Sepand Zarrabi took home the Booby Prize. Oswaldo Chacon was excited to finally win a prize, finishing as Runner Up to our Weekly Champion, Simon Lenari.

After two weeks of play, Bobby Cangkrama confidently sits at the top of the Leaderboard, just ahead of Daniel Park and Axel Hertzke. With plenty of golf still to be played and opportunities for improvement, the competition to see who will don the Blue Jacket at the end of the tournament remains fierce.

Players are reminded to arrive at least 30 minutes before our scheduled tee off time. We will proceed with an early start if possible, and those who are late will need to catch up with their groups on the course.

Manila Dogs 25th Anniversary
Our founder, Fritz Hainzl, was originally a member of the Manila Dogs. When he moved to Jakarta, he saw an opportunity and created a similar organization—what we now know as the Djakarta Old Golf Society or D.O.G.S.
On Saturday, March 14, 2026, the Manila Dogs will be celebrating their 25th Anniversary at Club Intramuros Golf Course in Manila.
Several Dogs are making the trip to Manila to join in the fun. If you are interested in being part of the celebration, please let John know!
